1st Open Science Award

We are proud to have awarded the Lübeck Open Science Award for the first time! The first prize winners are Lilian Kojan and André Calero Valdez from the Institute for Multimedia and Interactive Systems. The awarded project is a published paper named “Perceptions of behavior efficacy, not perceptions of threat, are drivers of COVID-19 protective behavior in Germany“, an investigation of the socio-psychological predictors of corona protective behavior. In addition to the publication as Open Access under cc-by 4.0 license, preregistration, Open Data and Open Code, the jury particularly highlighted the website created especially for the project containing alternative and further analyses, which is not yet standard regarding Open Science practices. Here you can find the news on the website of the University of Lübeck.

We look forward to the second round of the award in 2023!
